Mod of the Month August 2016 in Association with Corsair
Summer is coming to a close here in the UK, and the last few weeks have offered some warm, dry weather over much of Europe as a whole, which has been very modding-friendly. As a result, though, our forums have been buzzing with activity and not just from European modders but from talented enthusiasts from around the world.
We've picked a handful of our favourite completed projects spotted this month in our forum for you to check out over the following pages. We've got 3D printed mini PCs, an armoured PC desk, water-cooled Steampunk and plenty of luminous UV green too. Don't forget to vote for your favourite in the forum too.
We've got lots more to show you in the
modding section of our website as well as in our
forums.
Corsair is our sponsor for our monthly modding competitions and we've got some great prizes for you this month including its latest magnetic levitation LED fans and Vengeance LED memory spread across the top three positions in Mod of the Month:
We regret that Corsair's worldwide coverage with shipping no longer includes Russia, South America and Africa due to continuing issues with shipping to these locations. This is beyond our control so we sincerely apologise to anyone in these areas as we'll be unable to honour their prizes for the forseeable future.
Last month's winner was
RED IMPACT by twister7800gtx followed by
Dark Matter by EnviousMods in second and
ESKIMOD 2.0 by ToddK in third place.
A huge thanks to Corsair for stumping up some great prizes again this month. Don't forget that you can
vote for more than one project if you're finding it tough to choose one over the others. MOTM is a competition for completed projects. You should consider originality, execution and show of skill when voting.
